Background

Anastasia is a Russian-born, Toronto-based visual artist. A nomad at heart, she loves to create and explore. Anastasia's first big move was all by herself when she was 17, from the other side of the world to the evergreen Vancouver, BC. It opened her eyes to the power of art as a universal language, and ultimately led her to switch careers from engineering to painting full-time. Through art, Anastasia invites the viewer to connect with their inner self, and to celebrate the beauty and mystery of life.
